Quiet release — analytics now genuinely respects your consent

The cookie banner on lorika.dev already let you choose "Essential only" or "Accept all." This week we wired the two together properly: Google Analytics now stays off unless you explicitly accept cookies, and the privacy policy now accurately describes what is collected, when, and by whom.

What's fixed

Why this matters for customers

Lorika sells device trust. Our own website should model what we preach. A cookie banner that stores a preference without honouring it is not a consent mechanism — it is a decoration. Anyone methodically checking our site's data flows would spot that immediately, and they would be right to flag it. This fix closes that gap and keeps our own compliance posture honest.

For security teams evaluating Lorika: no analytics code runs on app.lorika.dev. Your dashboard traffic, device inventory, compliance findings, and remediation steps are not tracked by any third-party service.

For privacy-conscious visitors

If you previously chose "Essential only" on lorika.dev, that preference is still saved and honoured — analytics remains off. To review or change your choice, use the cookie banner at the bottom of any page on lorika.dev.
